I'm located in downtown Los Angeles, primarily working with hardcore computer newbies and new computer owners at home or in small offices. I have over 15 years' hands on experience with PC's and a few Macs. I don't claim to know everything about computers, but what I don't know I can always find out.
I don't "sell" computers, parts, or software. If, after examining your computer, I find that it needs a new piece of hardware or software, I will assist you in obtaining what's needed and then I will install it. Most computer problems can be corrected without any new hardware or software, in spite of what you may have been told by computer repair persons that do sell hardware and software.

SERVICES
Malware Removal and Protection
Many computer problems are caused by infections from unwanted viruses, spyware, and adware. Any computer connected to the Internet is highly susceptible to these infections. After removing the offending infections, I will install protection for your computer. Believe it or not, there are free programs that do an excellent job of providing this protection. I will show you how to use these programs and maintain your computer.
Networking
Want to set up a home or small office network? I'll help you get it up and working.
Hardware Installation
Do you need assistance in installing a new piece of computer equipment? Upgrading your computer's memory? Replacing a component? Getting that printer to work? Modem problems? I can do all that, and more.
Tutoring
Recently get a computer and don't know what to do next? Need to find out how to do something with your computer? Let's talk.
HOW I CHARGE
My usual fee is $25.00 an hour, with a minimum charge of one hour.
I offer a 20% discount to senior citizens, veterans, and the disabled.
If I can't fix it, there is no charge.
I do not charge for travel anywhere within the general 213/323 area accessible by public transportation. Beyond that, call me and we will negotiate.
I do not charge for what I call "learning time". If I'm not sure what is wrong with your computer and I have to research the problem, you don't pay for the research time.
On rare occasions, I may have to take your computer home with me to work on it. Usually I can correct the problem at your home or office. If I do, I will return it as soon as possible. There is no extra charge for this service.
